The Governing Body of Bacup Nursery School require all children to wear school uniform to prepare children for Primary School and to promote independence.

Nursery School logo sweatshirts and cardigans are required and can be purchased from the Nursery School office. Parents and guardians can purchase 'new' sweatshirts or cardigans or alternatively we have pre-loved' sweatshirts and cardigans for a donation.

All other uniform items may be purchased from any other retailer/supermarket.

Boys

• Purple school sweatshirt or cardigan
• Plain coloured (yellow or white) polo shirt
• Trousers or shorts  (No denim)
• Sensible shoes with Velcro fastening

Girls

• Purple school sweatshirt or cardigan
• Plain coloured (yellow or white) polo shirt
• Trousers, leggings, school dress/pinafore, skirt
• Sensible shoes with Velcro fastening

In the Summer, children are expected to wear school uniform, however shorts and summer school dresses can be worn.

Children should not wear items of jewellery i.e. earrings, necklaces, rings or bracelets.

PE

P.E kits are required throughout the year.

• Plain coloured shorts

• Velcro fastening pumps

Forest School Clothing

Bacup Nursery School provides every child with waterproof trousers and waterproof jacket. Parents are required to provide a pair of named wellies. If you are unable to provide wellies, nursery school  has a selection of spare pairs.

Please ensure your child has warm clothes for their Forest School Day. For example, a warm coat, gloves, hat, scarf. Vests, t-shirts, tights can be worn under uniform on Forest School day.
